2019 Club Achievement after 2 years of training operation.

For the year 2019, Lakay Judo Club Trainees and Head Coach have competed in a total of:

• 4 WA Western Australia State Level Judo Competition

• 1 WA Western Australia State Judo Championship

• 1 Australia National Judo Championship

• 1 International Level Judo Competiton

• 1 IJF World Judo Championship.

2019 Notable Competition result for Head Coach- Lito Uyami:

1. 2019 Australia National Judo Championship

• Gold Medalist & 2019 Australia National Judo Champion M2 U66kgs Division

 2. 2019 IJF International Judo Federation World Judo Veterans Championship Marrakech

• Australia Representative & 5th Place finish.

2019 Notable Competition result for Lakay Judo Club - Trainees:

1.  2019 WA Western Australia State Judo Championship, medal results as follows:

• 3 Golds & 2019 WA Western Australia State Judo Championship

• 10 Silver Medalists 

• 5 Bronze Medalists

2. 2019 Australia National Judo Championship

• First time for Lakay Judo Club to send 9 trainees as WA State representative to the nationals.

Medal results as follows:

• 2 Golds & 2019 Australia National Judo Champions

• 1 Silver Medalist

• 3 5th place finishers

• 3 7th place finishers

3. 2019 WA Western Australia International Judo Championship Perth, medal results as follows:

• 3 Gold Medalists

• 6 Silver Medalists
